Buttercream Flowers Workshop - Heart Box Design Cake - May 14

Have you been entranced by the jaw-dropping buttercream flower cakes you see on Instagram?  Intricate floral cakes with elevated color palettes seem so delicate and contemporary. 

We are so excited to host one of the innovators of this artform to teach in our studio, all the way from Korea.  Lucia has been teaching her technique for years in person all around the world. 

In this class, you will learn how to create the heart box design cake, including:

• Making the special buttercream recipe
• Coloring the buttercream
• Techniques to pipe several different varieties of flowers
• Coloring and applying the base buttercream to the cake
• How to arrange the flowers artfully on a cake
• Edible fabric decoration

For the class, you will use a dummy cake, which will be provided for you, along with all of the materials for creating and piping the cake.  All you have to do is show up, eager to learn and have fun!

Feel free to sign up for all of Lucia's workshops!  Each is different, and will build on the foundation of what is taught in this class.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day.  And, of course, cake will be served as well!
