Have you seen these gorgeous, heavily textured floral cakes and wondered, "Just what IS that?  How is that even possible?!"  Well, this style of floral sculpture is actually using a chocolate cream that has been perfected by Lucia.

We are so excited to host Lucia in our studio, all the way from Korea.  Lucia has been teaching her technique for years in person all around the world. 

Some experience would be beneficial in this class.  If you don't have decorating experience, but are artful, crafty and adventurous, and just love to learn new thing...join us!

In this last of three classes taught by Lucia, you will learn the skills of chocolate cream flower sculpting including:
  • Making the special chocolate cream recipe
  • Color mixing
  • Techniques to create different varieties of flowers using a palette knife
  • Coloring and applying the base chocolate ganache to the cake
  • How to arrange the flowers artfully on a cake

For the class, you will use a two tier dummy cake, which will be provided for you, along with all of the materials for creating and piping the cake.  All you have to do is show up, eager to learn and have fun!

Feel free to sign up for all three of Lucia's workshops!  Each is different.

Breakfast and lunch will be provided each day.  And, of course, cake will be served as well!
